Day out on Friday

Yesterday the kids had the day off school for the local show day, so we ventured up to Buderim to a park with these awesome big trees. The kids had a great time with their friends climbing them and throwing leaves.

South East Qld floods

Hi
Just wanted to let you all know that we were very fortunate to not be affected by the floods. The worst of it was about half an hour away from us. When I say not affected, well, Daniel had to take the day off as the Bruce Hwy was closed so he couldn't get where he had to go. And the kids were evacuated from school at 11.00am because of some "super storm cell" developing......but it never did....So we all had a nice day at home.... safe and sound....

Weekend away at the Gold Coast

Last weekend we went to the Gold Coast and stayed in a lovely resort at Biggera Waters. We made full use of the facilities and basically just took it easy. On Sunday we went to Wet and Wild. The kids had a great time, well so did Daniel and I. It was heaps of fun. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we certainly made the most of it. Some pics of us all slipping and sliding...
